
There is a huge variety in internet websites. Some you certainly want to stay away from and some are very useful. The internet is a great resource venue for most any information you need. Following are some internet websites I’ve found to be helpful.

http://www.cnet.com/- offers a wide variety of free and trial software for Mac and Windows users. You can also read technology news and reviews. I’ve benefited a lot from the software I’ve downloaded.
http://oldfashionedcooking.com/ – offers a nice variety of old-fashioned recipes, some your grandmother may have used and you’d love to have the recipe.
http://www.epinions.com/ – consumers write and read reviews on anything from cars to electronics and everything in between. I’ve used this site many times and it’s been useful in helping me buy a quality product or steering me away from a product that’s proved to be of low quality.

http://www.ticketmaster.com/ – find out when concerts, sport, art and theater events are taking place in your area or out of town; find out price of tickets. You can also order tickets on the site.
http://usajobs.opm.gov/ – contains a database, helping you to locate a Federal Government job
http://www.classmates.com/ – connect with classmates you haven’t seen in years. This site lists schools from the United States and other countries. You can create a profile, add pictures and give an update of your life.
http://abc.go.com/ – find out more about ABC TV shows and watch a selection of full episodes for free. I’ve watched the full episodes and they are of good quality.
http://allpoetry.com/ – a large community where writers of poetry and stories can comment on each other’s work, host and participate in contests and create user groups
http://www.thewb.com/ – if you’ve missed your favorite shows, you can catch them on the WB. The WB offers many full episodes and some older shows such as Gilmore Girls, Everwood, The OC, etc.
