Ingredient list:
4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar (not packed) 1 tsp cinnamon
Additional sprinkling of cinnamon and 1/2 cup chopped pecans to use as topping
Directions
Peel sweet potatoes and then cut into smaller cubes. Place in boiling water and cook until they pieces are soft and mushy. Drain, place in bowl and then mash with a potato masher. Be sure to rinse the masher before the potatoes have a chance to dry. Trust me on this one. Add butter and milk and stir to combine. Now fold in your brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop into a bowl for serving and top with a little more cinnamon and your chopped pecans!
*Be sure that you have gone through the pecans carefully, checking for bits of shell. Chomping down on a piece of shell is going to ruin your career as TV chef want-to-be lol! Just remember that all good things arrive by word of mouth! It’s definitely who you know, not what you know!
